It provides practical tools for companies and organizations looking to identify and control their environmental impact and constantly improve their environmental performance. ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14004:2004 focus on environmental management systems. The Ministry of Economic Affairs started enforcing the“Taiwan-made MIT Smile Product Certification System”in 2010 , to shape up the“safe, healthy and trustworthy”image of Taiwan-made products.
 

The concept of Green Building Material was advocated at the 1st International Symposium on Materials Science & Technology in 1988, wherein the Green refers to the level of the contribution to the sustainable environmental development. Materials which have a minimum impact on the earth's environment produce no harm to human health in the process of raw material acquirement as well as the cycle of regeneration and reuse. Responsible product manufacturing and application are collectively called Green Building Materials.

 

The Singapore Green Labeling Scheme (SGLS) was launched in May 1992 to endorse consumer products and services that have less undesirable effects on our environment. This is administered by the Singapore Environment Council. The SGLS is also recognized as a member of the international Global Eco-labeling Network (GEN), allowing certification by mutual recognition of SGLS endorsed products by other members of the network. 
 

F☆☆☆☆ standard, granted by MLIT Japan, is a Green Certification with the most stringent requirements to protect our health and environment. All KD Panels are F☆☆☆☆ certified, compliant with all the required standards.
