2022
In the past year, KD ECO+ Panels has expanded its Extended Collection by adding a variety of new items, offering customers a more diverse selection to meet their preferences for different spaces. In terms of expanding into international markets, we have established branches in India and Indonesia during this year to provide product and technical services.
2021
A new matte collection was launched in the market, consisting of surface finishes of 2% gloss made to enhance the natural grain of wood. In the same year, KD Backer Panels were born, the complimentary product for KD Panels™, a healthy and cost-effective option to obtain the closest color and grain matching between the inside and outside of your woodwork.
2020
In 2020, KD Panels launched KD Wide Plank Wood Flooring line to minimize the number of joint lines on the surface and enhance the sense of spaciousness and comfort for our clients' living spaces. In the same year, KD focused on e-commerce and established a flagship store on the Tmall platform, offering a new online sales channel to our customers. Additionally, we established a branch office in the Philippines to actively expand our presence in the overseas market.
2019
In 2019 KD Panels launched KD Wooden Accessories. This collection enriches the product line and earns recognition by the professionals with its original design and the use of exclusive materials. Furthermore, KD 3D Textured Panels are revolutionary products that create a new concept to the use of traditional wood. KD Panels insists on creativity and uniqueness, seeking new solutions for interior decoration.
2018
This year, Keding Enterprises established 3 new logistics centers around the world to boost and upgrade the speed of supply. On top of that, KD has been recognized by the Taiwan Excellence Awards. Finally, we are happy to announce our official IPO in the Taiwan Stock Exchange Market (TWSE 6655). We are happy to be able to continuously provide quality products and services to our clientele.
2017
After 15 memorable years, the Operation of our Dapumei Production Headquarters Factory 1 has officially begun! With this new Headquarters, production facilities are connected to an increase in capacity as well as in quality control. At the end of the year, KD Panels went officially public in the Taiwan Stock Exchange Market(Stock symbol: 6655), taking the Enterprise to a higher platform.
2016
KD's prefinished veneered panels is a proud winner of the 24th Taiwan Excellence Awards. With the growing demand of the market, we have acquired the Miaoli Veneer Lamination Facility to grow production capacity.
2015
This year KD has acquired Japanese F☆☆☆☆ Standard Certification, which is a testimony of our continuous dedication to provide responsible products. In addition, KD has set up seven other branches in China to provide thorough service plus three more factories in Taiwan to develop new product lines and increase production capacity. We will soon create our own brand of high end furniture with only the best wooden materials in the market.
2014
A total of 15 offices were set up in China. KD also had its global business expansion with offices in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand. With the increasing demands worldwide, KD also acquired a 4.2 hectare land ownership for factory use in Chiayi in response to the determination of “Rooting Locally, Thinking Globally”.
2013
With the aim to secure healthy living environment, KD panels have low formaldehyde emissions making us the very first enterprise in the industry with products certified as National F1-Grade. In the same year, KD set up branches in Hsinchu and Taipei City, a factory in Pingtung and 7 offices in the China region, providing prompt service to the customers' needs.
2012
MIT Smile Product Certificate and Singapore Green Label Certificate were obtained. With various certifications, KD inputs all efforts to guarantee only high-quality products and earn the trust of our cherished consumers.
2011
KD was the first in the market to obtain FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council™) certification and launched the first aesthetic wood flooring TVC during this year. The second overseas branch was also set up in Singapore.
2010
With continuous innovation and advanced technology, KD set up the 5th factory in Taipei City and the 1st factory in Pingtung. In the same year, KD entered the competitive Chinese market by setting up the Shanghai Branch, this would become a first step towards global market development.
2009
KD Hand-scraped wood flooring launched together with the inauguration of the first showroom in Taipei, where customers were able to experience all KD products in person.
2008
Unfinished wood veneered panels launched. KD, is the first in the industry obtaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Green Building Material Certification in Taiwan. Providing safe and healthy certified products is our guarantee.
2005-2007
With increasing demands in both domestic and global markets, KD set up the 2nd and 3rd factories to increase production capacity. This has helped in the innovation and development of new products for commercial and residential purposes.
2004
The first branch was set up in Taichung. HPL backing products were also launched in the same year to satisfy the demands from American and European markets.
2003
Prefinished paperbacked veneer launched. Each prefinished veneered panel has its own matching paperbacked veneer ready for edging and can be applied on corners and sides, creating more decorative possibilities.
2002
Keding Enterprises Co., Ltd was founded in Taipei, specializing in the manufacturing of prefinished wood veneered panels with the use of advanced coating machinery. Different from conventional lacquering techniques, KD provides a healthy and non-toxic choice for wooden decorative materials, thus revolutionizing the decorative material industry.
